Marmara University Industrial Design Department student Atahan Göktürk Güner entered the top three with "Light Bulb Packaging Design" and became the winner of the silver award.

Organized annually by the Association of Packaging Industrialists (ASD) with the contribution of the Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair, in cooperation with Reed TUYAP, and the 17th in 2021. 17 student projects that were awarded degrees in the National Student Competition for Packaging Design competed in the WorldStar Student, organized annually by the World Packaging Organization (WPO). in the international competition, which included 300 projects, our student from Turkey entered the top three and became the winner of the silver award.

WorldStar Student has been organized by the World Packaging Organization (WPO) since 2006, open only to students. The Packaging Design National Student Competition, which is the only competition that allows students from our country to participate in the WorldStar Student Competition, is organized annually by the Association of Packaging Industrialists (ASD) with the contribution of Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair and in cooperation with Reed TUYAP.

Our young designers have become a source of pride

Evaluating the result of the competition, ASD President Zeki Sarıbekir said, “I would like to congratulate our student who received an award for a project with a high added value during this period when value-added exports are of great importance. As a country and sector, we need our young people. Our young people also make us proud in these competitions. I would like to congratulate all 17 student projects that took part in the competition, which included 300 projects, one by one. The winners of WorldStar Student 2021 will receive their awards at the WordStar Awards Ceremony, which will be held on May 4, 2022 during the packaging fair in Milan. 

10. Applications for the Packaging Moon Stars Competition have started

Applications for the ‘Packaging Moon Stars Competition’ 2022, which will be held for the 10th time this year by the Packaging Industrialists Association (ASD), also started on February 1, 2022.
